Nummulitic Limestone 50mm

The pyramids of Egypt were built with nummulitic limestone. It contains numerous fossils from the Tertiary Foraminifera, having thin, flat, round shells, containing a large number of small chambers arranged spirally. These spheres have been expertly sculpted and polished to a smooth finish. Measuring approximately 50mm. Stand not included.
